Structure of Benzo[a]yrene

Five fused benzene rings. Pyrene has four different types of bond in the periphery. Benzo[a]pyrene and benzo[e]pyrene have in common that the pyrene and the benzene share one bond. Benzo[a]pyrene if formed by fusion of the benzene of one of the four equivalent a-bonds.
