Reduced Form of Coenzyme Q

Coenzyme Q (CoQ) in its oxidized form is an ubiquinone. Reduction of the coenzyme Q quinone leads to the addition of two electrons and two protons. The reduced form of coenzyme Q is a 1,4-dihydroxybenzene.
