Title: Alcohol Dehydrogenase (E.C.1.1.1.1) (Ee Isozyme)
Complexed With Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (Nad), And Zinc
Authors: S.Ramaswamy, M.El Ahmad, O.Danielsson, H.Jornvall, H.Eklund

Method: X-Ray Diffraction. Resolution 2.05 Ang.

The alcohol dehydrogenase is displayed as "ribbons" and the color is selected so as to show the "chain". The coenyzme NAD is shown in CPK color and in spacefill mode. The alcohol dehydrogenase together with the coenzyme is a holoenzyme. Note also the presence of the Zn ions as metal co-factor. This enzyme therefore also is a metalloenzyme. View the next panel to get view of the coenzyme and the metal co-factor alone.
