ortho-Benzyne

A "benzyne" is a derivative of benzene that is short of two H-atoms. If the two H-atoms are missing in adjacent positions, then we call the benzyne an ortho-benzyne. This molecule has one double bond in the plane of the molecule between the C-atoms that are naked. This molecule is sort of an alkyne. Draw the Lewis structure of this molecule. Benzyne have been made in many ways. They are high energy intermediates that are rather reactive.
